Introduction to Mysore with Erika Hawks

Mysore is a self-led practice where you move, at your own pace, through the

ashtanga yoga series of postures under the close guidance of a dedicated

teacher. Are you curious about the Mysore class? Are you nterested in learning

more about the traditional method of ashtanga yoga practice? Would you like to bring

a more meditative quality to your yoga practice? Join us as we explore the

foundations of this transformative practice – philosophy, asana, breath and

mantra .

In this workshop we will include discussion and a light asana practice where

we breakdown the sun salutations - surya namaskara - the foundation of this

practice. You will leave with the groundwork firmly established to step into the

Mysore program at the Key West Yoga Sanctuary.

All levels welcome! This practice is appropriate for everyone, all ages and

abilities.
