Gentle Movement + Sound Bath
Tuesday, Aug 19: 7:30-9:00 pm
Give yourself permission to deeply rest your body and mind. This immersive offering combines yoga with the power of sound healing and encourages physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Begin with conscious breathing accompanied by slow, gentle movements. Once our body is more at ease and our mind less busy, we then drop in for a 45 minute Sound Bath. This practice is one that will help restore your inner light and come back home to yourself, your true nature.
How does a sound bath work? The sound waves help relax muscles, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep quality. When you listen to soothing sounds, you enter a state of relaxation called alpha brain wave activity. Alpha waves are associated with deep concentration and creativity. This makes them ideal for creative endeavors, including writing and painting. Beta waves are minimized during this state, which means you become less aware of external stimuli. You may feel relaxed, focused, and even sleepy.
Sound baths allow you to completely immerse yourself in the experience of healing vibrations. As you listen to the music, your body relaxes, your mind lets go of thoughts and you enter into a deep a state of calm.
Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary. Come as you are.

Awakening the Diaphragm / An Exploration of Freediving Breathing Techniques
Thursday, Sept 4: 7:00-8:00 pm
Unlock your breath. Calm your mind. Dive deeper.
Join us for a focused session on diaphragmatic breathing—learning to isolate, stretch, and activate the most powerful muscle for breath control. We’ll explore specific stretches to release tension, increase flexibility, and help you fully access your lungs. You’ll also be introduced to the freediving “breathe-up” technique: a calming breath pattern that lowers your heart rate and prepares your body for stillness, both in and out of the water. We’ll also explore the art of breath-hold (static apnea) and learn how to tap into the mammalian dive reflex. Perfect for yogis, breathwork practitioners, and ocean lovers alike. No experience necessary. Just bring your breath..
About Tracy / Tracy Wollschlager, founder of Freedive Key West, is a certified FII Freediving Instructor. Her journey with the ocean began in childhood and has since evolved into a lifelong passion for freediving, marine exploration, and holistic living. With over a decade of freediving experience, Tracy has explored the waters of her backyard and some of the most beautiful underwater destinations around the world.
In addition to freediving, Tracy is a devoted yoga practitioner, and her practice deeply informs her teaching. She integrates yoga’s principles of breath awareness, mindfulness, and physical balance into every course—creating a calm, grounded, and focused environment for her students. Her philosophy emphasizes safety, respect for marine life, and a meaningful connection with the underwater world.

Candlelight Yoga Nidra + Sound Bath
Thursday, Nov 20: 7:00-8:30 pm
Give yourself permission to deeply rest your body and mind in this 90 minute lay low and glow class. This offering encourages physical, mental, and emotional rest. When we slow down enough we can really feel for what is going on honestly within ourselves. Once our body is more at ease and our mind less busy, we then drop into the practice of Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is an ancient Tantric deep relaxation practice, state of consciousness and the nurturing quality of the goddess, meant to allow you to rest in spacious awareness and connect to your innate power and wisdom. Singing sound bowls will bathe you in healing vibration throughout. This practice is one that will help restore your inner light and come back home to yourself, your true nature.
